Terms & Conditions

  1. Great Newry Area Employee Awards are FREE to enter.
  2. The address of the business must be within the Newry, Mourne & Down Council Area.
  3. Employees must be nominated by their employers and/or a manager and cannot nominate themselves.
  4. All entries must be submitted via the nomination online form found here
  5. Employees can only be nominated for the Award category which related to their company sector.
  6. Category sponsors cannot submit an application for the Award which they are sponsoring.
  7. At the date of application submission, nominees must have been employed by the company for a minimum of 6 months.
  8. Nominations will be assessed on the evidence provided on the application form., Please note that examples are required to demonstrate how the employee met the criteria for the Award.
  9. No liability for entries lost or delayed will be accepted.
  10. No nominations will be accepted after midnight on Friday 17th August.
  11. Any shortlisted applicants must be happy to share company information.
  12. The organisers reserve the right to publicise the results of the Awards in the press.
  13. The decision of the independent judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. All applications will be treated professionally, fairly and in confidence.
  15. The judges have been selected due to their experience and knowledge of the subject.
  16. It is the employers responsibility to ensure that information supplied in the application form and/or supporting evidence is GDPR compliant.
  17. Only one application per company per category will be accepted. However, companies can apply for more than one category.
  18. By registering and completing an entry for the Awards, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
